HEADER: ✂️ What Your Cat Gets

Each session is approximately 10–15 minutes of basic grooming

by a certified groomer from Cat Crusaders Singapore:

✅ Nail clipping

✅ Ear & eye cleaning

✅ Paw shaving (if needed)

✅ Overall skin & fur assessment

❌ This is not a full bath or wash — no water is involved

❌ No flea/tick treatment or medical procedures

🧴 Please bring your own towel for your cat.

⚠️ Before You Register :

Your Cat Must Meet ALL of These

1️⃣ Sterilised

— Your cat must be sterilised. Unsterilised cats are not eligible.

2️⃣ Healthy skin & coat

— Your cat must be completely free from fleas, mites, ringworm, mange, or any skin condition.

This protects your cat and every other cat at the event.

3️⃣ Minimum 12 months old

— Cats below 12 months should not be groomed in a shared public setting.

4️⃣ Secure carrier

— Your cat must arrive in a secure pet carrier.

This is mandatory, no exceptions.

5️⃣ Leash or harness

— When outside the carrier, your cat must be on a leash or harness at all times.

Free-roaming is prohibited under AVS regulations.

6️⃣ Not aggressive or highly distressed — Cats that show aggressive behaviour or extreme distress will not be groomed, for the safety of the groomers and your cat.

🚫 Cats that do not meet these criteria will not be eligible for grooming.

🔍 What Happens When You Arrive

All cats will undergo a visual health and behaviour check by our certified groomers before grooming begins. This includes inspection of:

🐾 Fur and skin condition

🐾 Eyes and ears

🐾 Paws and nails

🐾 Behaviour and stress level

⚠️ Our groomers have full authority to reject any cat that does not pass the on-site inspection.

This is non-negotiable and is in place to protect all animals at the event.

⚠️ MTFA reserves the right to refuse grooming to any cat that is deemed infectious, in poor health, or not in compliance with the requirements above

— including something as simple as not having a carrier or leash.

📝 By Registering, You Agree To

✅ I confirm that my cat meets all eligibility requirements listed above

✅ I agree to the on-site visual inspection by certified groomers

✅ I accept that MTFA and its grooming partners may reject my cat if it does not pass inspection

✅ I indemnify MTFA, its staff, volunteers, and grooming partners (Cat Crusaders Singapore) against any injury, illness, stress, or adverse reaction experienced by my cat during or after the grooming session

✅ I understand that MTFA is not liable for any loss, damage, or harm to my cat or myself during the event

✅ I consent to photographs being taken during the grooming session for MTFA and Cat Crusaders publicity purposes (you may opt out on the day)

✅ I consent to receive event updates and communications from MTFA via WhatsApp

🚶 Can I Walk In Without Pre-Registering?

Yes — but with no guarantee of a slot.

We strongly encourage pre-registration to secure your spot.

Walk-in cat owners are welcome on the day, but grooming will only be offered after all pre-registered cats have been served, subject to time and slot availability.

All walk-in cats must meet every requirement listed above. No exceptions.

This is a community event built on the spirit of sharing and learning. Whether you’re bringing your cat for grooming or just coming to enjoy the carnival, there’s something for everyone: cat welfare talks, educational games, face painting, and a 16-metre bouncy castle.
